I have an iphone 2G that I'd simply like to plop into any old dock that has an ipod port connector in the back. I'd simply like to connect it to Griffin's itrip, which has the forward/backward controls at the power plug. The problem when connecting to the itrip with the normal dock is that none of the Griffin controls work.
