Any bricked iPhones?

just saw that the update for the iPhone is out. anybody heard or seen anything about unlocked iPhones being bricked. anybody here had there unlocked iPhone bricked (hopefully not)?

Many unlocked iphones are bricked with the update, somewhat. Meaning, it's stuck in activation limbo and no SIM card will work.

Everyone is getting screwed by the new update. All third party applications are removed, any ringtone software you were previously using does not work, basically you trade everything you could have done up until this point for the itunes wifi store and the home button double tap function. I am really kicking myself for updating, I don't know how to go back either.
