A look into iPhone/Ipod Touch OS 4?

While I'm still looking for a definite opinion on the iPad, I had an idea...

what if this is a preview into a few of the features that will come about when OS 4 comes out? features such as:

• Custom background on the home screen
• New layout for Calendar / Address Book
• New ways to view photos
• A new look to the iTunes / App Stores?
• New look for Music and Videos?

and of course we want multiple apps to run at the same time...and many other things, but for the cosmetic side of OS 4...iPad has several differences to the iPhone and I just wondered if these might come about with the new OS? Merely speculation, but a few of these, I'd love to see. (the background and new photo mode mainly)
