2 Questions about the iPhone

1.) Can you use the internet on the iPhone anywhere you go? ie. driving in the car, beach, etc.

2.) Do you HAVE to have AT&T inorder to use the iPhone?

first ill answer #2. yes you have to use AT&T but there has been a recent story that someone hacked the iphone so you can use it on any service provider that has GSM but it requires hhard work modding the hardware but should have the instructions online in less than a week. now for 1. yes you can. you use AT&Ts EDGE network which can be very slow at times.

please...you should not give any one the impression that "normal people" can get a phone hacked to be an open system...I chuckled when I read the headline and then read it required "heavy duty soldering"...for now it's a closed system to ATT...

No. You need to activate it with ATT before it'll do anything.
