I don't have an adapter. And I can't use my docking station either because they changed the jack on the newer models. I've decided to send it back for a refund. I will stick with either my CD player or my 4th generation iPod.

I doubt I would notice any difference. All I use my iPod for is listening to albums when I go to bed. I do not use apps. No internet surfing. No picture or video taking. No game playing. For me purchasing the Sixth Generation might be a waste of money.
