My back/rewind button suddenly stopped working, took it into the apple store and an ipod "expert" did a hard reboot and it started working again..now its not working again and hard reboots are doing nothing. I plan on taking it in again but until then is there anything that could be causing this?

Can you use a iPod remote with iPod armor..its a 3g model. Its hard to have to control and open the case to switch songs.. 30 seconds to new years :D ..im watching the ball drop.. John
