Why is the release date off by one in iTunes? For example if I say November 8, 2004 in iTunes it says November 7, 2004, and it was like this for both your releases.

I have figured out my problem with the release dates and maybe someone has a cure for it When I convert older tv series from the 60's and enter the release date and everything it saves fine but won't show up on my ipod But if the series is in the last few years, then the release date shows fine. Could there be any logic to that? Is it the iPod that has the issue or the software? I think it is the iPod because no matter what software I use to put in the release date, as long as it is in the 60's it won't show up on the ipod

There may not be a cure (other than firware patch) as I suspect the date is a calculated figure (i.e. days since 1st January 1980 or some date significant to Apple and the iPod).
Since the sixties would be a negative figure, it doesn't calculate correctly and is assumed by the firmware to be "wrong" or "corrupted". |

That's about what I figured. Oh well, if they ever decide to fix it, then I will be happy but until then, I guess there's nothing much more I can do about it. But thank you for all your help. I do appreciate it alot.

So, yes December 31st, 2007 becomes 2007-12-32 ... and January 1st, 1980 becomes 1980-01-02 ... It seems a bit silly, but it's an easy fix. I've been dealing with it for so long I sometimes post date checks on accident. |

When I use it, the dates go through to iTunes just fine.
I'm not doubting you, I just cannot replicate the problem. I have been working on a new version of the software that works with Vista. I've more or less finished it. The new version can be 32-bit or 64-bit. Is anyone interested in a 64-bit version? |

Is there a way to get the program to reconize M4V files? All my converted files are in that extention and I can't get them to show up correctly.
Thanks. |

Is there a new version of this by any chance, I get nothing but debugging error messages as soon as I open it. If not, is there any other free software program that will do the same thing?

I know this thread is old, but I was using Atomic Parsley flawlessly until I upgraded my computer to windows 7. Now it won't work at all. Is there an update or another program that will do the same thing that will work on 7?
