Hey all,
I just started putting DVD's onto my ipod 5g video. Up until now I have not found a problem with the process. So I thought I would try my hand at downloading movies from U torrent and putting them onto my ipod. Unfortunately when I go to my download folder I have the following file types; "Name of film" DAT file "Name of film" BIN file "Name of film" MSinfo doc file "Name of film" CUE file Now I do not have a clue what to do to these files to be able to view them on my PC let alone my ipod. Could some one please let me know what software to use and the process to put the films onto my ipod. I have tried searching for this but I guess I am just not writing the right things. Thanks for your help in advance. |

use vcdgear 3.55 to convert bin file to mpeg (takes 1-2 minutes) using their directions
then use videora for mpeg to mp4 using 4:3 standard profile so video will not be distorted |

Seems you'd have a lot less compression artifacts to just encode directly by mounting the .bin file with Daemon Tools, that way as far as any DVD compression program is concerned, it's a DVD in a drive.
But that's me...
