Video not Syncing to iPod ?

Hello,

I have had my 30gb video ipod for over a year now. I used to sync a bunch of videos, but lately, i've been using all 30gb for music.

Just recently, I tried syncing videos via itunes, to my ipod. I freed up 1.72gb of space and tried syncing a 60mb video file.

No matter what I do, the video does not sync. It's in itunes, viewable through the computer, but never syncs.

I have synced videos before (before all the firmware and itunes updates), but now, it doesn't seem to sync.

My Current versions are: IPOD (1.2.1) and itunes (7.0.2.16)

Information on the Video I'm trying to sync:
-Used xilisoft video converter to convert to ipod video
-Kind: MPEG-4 video file
-Size: 65.2 mb
-Bit Rate: 127 kbps
-Sample Rate: 44.1kHz
-Profile: Low Complexity
-Channels: Stereo
-Total Bit Rate: 425 kbps

File plays fine in Quicktime and iTunes.

PS: Songs and Playlist sync, no problem.

Connect your iPod to your PC and launch iTunes if it doesn't launch automatically. Open the information panel (just click on your iPod name wherre it appears on the left). Hit the "Movies" tab and make sure "Sync Movies" is checked.

If that doesn't fix it, shout again and we'll thinnk of something else.

Hi,

I have a 30gb video ipod that I have so far used only for audio. When I tried to sync some video's I got an error message:
'Some of the videos in you Itunes library, including the video "Growing Up in the Universe pt. 5", were not copied to the iPod "Cédric" because they cannot be played on this iPod'
A lists follows with al my video's (5 in total) saying that they could not be synced
I have over 9gb of free space and both my iTunes (7.7.1) and my iPod (1.3) are up to date.
The videos are playable in iTunes and other mediaplayers, below are the specifications of the video's:
Kind: MPEG-4 video file
Size: all are aproximately 500mb
Bit Rate: 90 kbps
Profile: Low Complexity
Chanels: Stereo
Total Bit Rate: 1006 kbps
Video Dimensions: 320x240
Video Codec: MPEG-4

Also, "Sync Movies" in the "Movies" tab is checked.
