My Palm Pilot is finally dying. I need a new pda, mainly for calendar and contacts. I can get a new Palm for about $200, or an 8gig Touch. I like the idea of wifi access. The Palm with wifi is much more expensive. The question is, does anyone use the touch as a pda? Do you keep your calendar and contact information on it? How does the virtual keyboard compare with the stylus entry system of the Palm?

If you are mainly looking for a calendar and contact manager, then the Touch would probably work well for you. If you want a to do application, you would need to download one separately from the App Store.

I was used to a stylus input as well but I have found that the keyboard is very easy to use and it will auto correct your mistypes to a certain degree. When I first started using it, I was really slow ok it but I have found that I have gotten pretty fast on it.
