Question 4G case: Flip-open face AND iTrip-friendly?

I'm looking for a 4th-gen case with flip-open face cover--because I want good wheel/screen protection but I still want to be able to take the iPod out of my pocket and have quick access to the controls without removing the iPod from the case.

I also need it to be compatible with iTrip and other top-accessories in some way--even while the flip-face is CLOSED (so I can use a RemoteRemote 2 and leave the iPod in my pocket).

Edit: But not a skin because I want my iPod to slip in/out easily--at home I want to Dock it with NO case at all. (Plus I want to avoid trapping grit under the skin.)

Under the flip-cover, additional screen protection is OK but ONLY if it doesn't rub directly on the screen. I'd rather have the screen open to the air (when flap is open) than have a hard window touching it (the grit thing again).

I'll consider ANY design that won't scratch, but some kind of soft sleeve (and no belt clip) might be better than a hard case: the thinner it is in my pocket the better.

Thanks!

(PS, first day with my first iPod... how could I have made it this long?)

I would recommend the exoflpfb 4g from www.lajo.biz

It is a silicone skin and if you want the flat back version you can get it. It is only 2mm thick and the bottom flips open for dock. The top is iTrip friendly. However, you must buy the screen protector (ishade) separately.

I'm not sure quite what you're asking for.

Do you want a case that flips open to become a stand?

Do you want a case that flips open so you have access to the dock?
or
Do you want a case that flips open to show the ipod (kinda like a pizza box where the pizza represents an ipod)?

Clarification is needed when choosing a case. There are too many to randomly pick from.

Thanks--I've re-worded my needs more clearly: by "flip-up" I meant the face... but flip-down or flip-sideways is fine too

I only want a flip-open face for the sake of the controls: I don't need a stand, and I'll just take it OUT of whatever case when I come home to place it in the dock. Access to the dock port isn't a bad thing, but I don't demand it.

Example: I really like the Marware SportSuit Convertible (as long as that rigid screen window doesn't quite touch the screen--does it?). However, that SportSuit won't work with iTrip and RemoteRemote 2--or if so, not if I want to use the flip-cover.

If I can't find what I want, I'll write to whatever company's closest

A little searching tells me that flip-open faces are rare--and the MarWare with lid is very thick! I may have to settle.

So... ANY case that covers the ENTIRE face of the iPod but also allows controls to be accessed in some way without removing the iPod is worth my looking into. Anything out there?
