Louis Vuitton Case (+Gucci & Dior)

Hi All

I'm looking for a gift for a girlfriend (she's getting a 3G 15GB iPod from someone else), so I thought about getting her a Louis Vuitton or Gucci iPod case. Unfortunately,Louis Vuitton in Brussels don' have any in stock until (maybe) nxt month; however; I'll be in London next week,a nd could pick up either there. The problem is that I cannot see pictures of what the LV looks like when it's open anywhere on the web.

So, has anyone seen one, and wouldn't mind posting a link to a picture of when it's open. OR has anyone got one and could describe it (or got a digicam and could photograph it).

One last point, is the Dior one available for 3G: I've only seen with a big hole for 4G wheel and buttons

Hmmm... I prefer the Kate Spade and the Paul Smith to either the Vuitton or Gucci, surprisingly. Although, truth be told, I'd prefer a custom-colored two-tone Vaja! Someday...

There is more fake Louis Vuitton out there than real. When I see something LV, I just assume it's another fake. Kind of defeats the reason to buy it I would think.............. only in America do we buy $300 slip covers for our $300 iPods.... and not question why

Very true. Although I can *usually* (not always) tell the fake from the real, close up. Sighted in NY about a month ago: mother and daughter, daughter was about 12 and was carrying one of those little under-the-arm Vuitton purses. A real one. Not to be judgmental or anything, but is that really necessary? ;-)

Hi All

Thanks for alll the replies. I drove to Paris today and bought the LV one. (They also have it in the "typical" LV colours: dark brown, with flowers and LV. Personally, I thought it looked a bit tacky.

Do you realize that you could just as well purchase another iPod and have enough Chash to eat at McDonald's afterwords? I mean $269 for a VL Case. THATS FREAKING SICK! I'd have to buy a Freaking Case to Protect that Case, in the First Case!
