Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I bought a used ipod a few weeks ago off ebay that was'nt working but to fix it you only needed to restore the factory settings. The ipod came bare with only the earphones. According to the seller the battery is still in good condition. I bought a new firewire/usb 2.0 to dock connector cable and only needed a charger but I decided I would be spending more than the price of new ipod so Im selling it or will consider trading it for an ipod mini. I never got to restore the factory setting because i had to charger to have the ipod function so you will be getting it AS IS. now that you have a charger, did you reset it? How does it work?

I've tried but my winxp wont recognize the ipod.
