i just got the suction cup phone mount for my pod and it wont stay stuck to my cup holder hole in my explorer. what do you all recommend to get it to stay? i want to keep this kind of mount and in the same place.

I may be way off on this one but dont suction mounts only work on glass?

It only takes a slight ripple on the surface to break the 'suck' - if it sticks to glass then I would say your cup holder isn't completely smooth.

Well you could just go down to radioshack and buy a cup holder holder(Try saying that three times fast). Its about 17 dollars and its actually designed to go into the cup holder.

I've seen cell phone mounts that attach to the vents... havent got one, but i'm thinking about it...

The cell phone mounts that attach to the vents work great - I picked one up (Arkon Cell Phone Vent Mount) at Radio Shack. I forget how much it was, but it wasn't bad. Works great, especially with the Belkin auto adapter. It fits in the notch on the bottom of the Arkon perfectly.
