i think the prices of ipod accessories are way to high, i spent loads of money on my iPod so why should i have to pay ??20 odd for sum case!? its annoying cos i would buy loads of accessories if the prices werent so high

I agree with you - its the market however. If people will pay it they will charge it.

The fact that a 13 yr olds parents would pay $500 + for an iPod and accessories is beyond me.

If Apple were smart they would add a case, upgraded headphones, fm transmiter and a speakerpackage and jack the price even higher.

If you could get everything at once - people would pay anything for it.

I agree. As if the iPod wasn't expensive enough you get your wallet raped again for simple, standard accessories like a decent case or a cable! Talk about a money pit.

I got mine for Xmas so now I'm stuck shelling out hundreds of dollars just to get it to work with my Non-firewire laptop and cases, dock, remote, decent headphones, etc... what a pain.

Thats what you bought the ipod for. To fall into this accessory craze.
