Does anyone know if the VW personal electronics console mount will work with an iPod (3G in particular)? It looks like it clips on the top and bottom, which would not work. What do you think?

Looks like it should work, although if you clip the bottom/top you won't be able to access the ports for charging/audio output while it's clipped in.

THe picture that they list is a little misleading. What you actually get is the mount and that's it. HTe thing they show that is holding the pda at the top and bottom is supplied from whatever you need to use to mount your device. In other words you do not actually get any sort of mount just a bast to instal whatever you wish to use to hold the ipod. Your far better off with an alternative mount such as the panavise and using that as a base. Far cheaper to buy too.
