I went into my local music instrument store to find out if they could get them - they could, but at a cost of ?99!!(and that from the Shure importer, HW International)
If you are serious about getting the Shures then check the prices of them on the 'net. $80 is a price I have seen mentioned which converts to a touch over ?50!!! B-I-G difference........... Last edited by Bob; 07-15-2003 at 12:06 PM. |

DJMart has them online for $80.00--don't know if they ship to the UK though.
**edit: looks like they do ship to the UK--shipping in U.S. is five dollars, it might not be any higher to ship to the UK, according to their website: http://drs.yahoo.com/S=96062885/K=DJ...ww.djmart.com/

eBay has them. Also HeadRoom.
HeadRoom is located at http://www.headphone.com I believe they will ship to the UK.

They are much, much better than the apple buds. You can get them at DJmart for $80.00, plus $5.00 shipping--they ship worldwide. These are my favorite portable earphones for less than $100.00....Well worth it in my opinion.

I paid 80$ on eBay, this was without testing, and they were well worth it for me also.

If ordering from the USA, it's probably safest to get them from www.headphone.com. Note that for some US-based vendors, they will now charge you VAT... Many US vendors haven't woken up to it (or have dismissed it as a plan by pinko Euros to invade American business), I don't think Headroom have registered yet. Then you get stung for import duty courtesy of HM Customs. If you haven't paid VAT on the US side you will be required to pay VAT.
Of course, a good way to get around it is to have a friend in the US buy the phones, and ship them to you marked as 'Gift' and declared at about $40. This way you avoid all charges. But I never said that. I ordered the E5c's from Turnkey in Charing X Road but I am paying absolutely top dollar (or pound, as the case may be). The E2C's they didn't know about at the but going by the US/Turnkey price discrepancy it will probably be about the same (a hundred). |

DJmart is a top vendor--I would whole heartedly recommend them, and you can expect to pay $85.00 with shipping included--at least that's what it was for me; I bought mine about a month ago.

I stumbled across this link an audiophile website:
http://www.handheldaudio.co.uk/ If you go to the Shure link here, click ear accessories, they had the E2's for 67.20 in U.K. currency, don't know what the U.S. equivalent is...
