They have better frequency response 5-23,000 rather than 6-23,000 and the drivers are 1-mm better. There's obviously more to sound quality than that, of course, but I'd expect them to be better ALL OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL.
A bit more efficient too, although still less than the iPod earphones... I think this is looking good.
Good price too! $29.00.
