Suddenly, no sound from my iPod
I have a new 30GB iPod for Windows that has been working a treat with my Bang & Olufsen earphones for ther last few days.
This afternoon, I fired up my iPod and ... nothing. No sound at all from the earphones. I tested them by connecting them to my PC and they're fine. I tried connecting them to the iPod directly, rather than to the remote control ... nothing. Checked the volume ... nothing. Reset the iPod ... nothing. I'm getting a bit panicked now. Any ideas? Thanks for any help, Neil. |

I had the same problem with my new 10 gig model. It would work fine, then occasionally I'd power it up and no sound. Later the sound would be back on. I took it to the Apple store and of course it worked fine there. After arguing with them for about an hour, they gave me a new one. Really weird problem, but sorry I have no solution for it. Just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one. The new one they gave me has worked fine.

Just thought I would jump in and say that I have the same problem. I got a 15GB the day they were released and it's happened about 3 times.

Add me to the list, it happened to me yesterday, no sound and no way to get it back on. I did a reset (play/menu) and it just came back on.
Obviously a bug. |
