I'm curious who makes, or what comes closest to the apple ipod earbuds. I know that there are better ones on the market. Actually someone in my office really likes the sound of the ipod earbuds and wants to get something similar to use with a cd player.

If he buys an Apple iPod he'll get a free set of earbuds and remote thrown in!!

I have suggested that to him!

To reiterate...the Sennheiser MX series (MX300/MX400/MX500) earbuds are very nice.

The Sony MDR-EX71's (white) look most similar to the iPod earbuds and have great sound. You can pick up a set at http://www.audiocubes.com for $46.
