So I sent my mini off today to get replaced since it suffers from the audio distortion problem but when it gets back I would like to get a case for it. So far all the cases I have seen don't seem to fit my needs but maybe there is one that does.

1) Must be clear. I like how the mini looks, thats partly why I bought it. I don't want the look distorted by some neon green crap.

2) Must be very slim. The biggest reason I bought the mini was because of its size. The iskin and others looks like they add way too much bulk to the size of the mini.

3) Must have a clip on the back. I am always wearing sport shorts to school and around campus and they do not have pockets. It is just much more convenient to have the Mini clipped on my shorts, under my shirt. Easier access.

4) Optional: I would like it to be able to be attachable to an armband for runs.

5) Optional: Good shock protection would also be great but seeing as how I want it very slim its most likely not possible. I just don't understand the people who buy huge padded cases for their ipods. Would you buy a really awesome sports car and then cover it with lots of padding??

So far I haven't seen a case that meets these requirements but if there is I would really appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't think you'll find anything with both the clip and the armband option until the next group of product releases. For an armband to work properly, it needs to hold the mini from both sides. For a clip to work optimally, it needs to have only one attachment point. Keep an eye out on lajo.biz and on iskin.
