No-one?????
for running im sure its great~ as thats what it is meant for
but i wouldnt be working out/weight lifting with it on your arm. muscles flex and swell dramatically when power training and blood circulation needs to at a maximum.
just clip it onto your shorts when you lift
I use the inCase belt bag for weightlifing. The iPod is completely protected and it's very slim and light, so it doesn't bother me at all. I think that I might be so worried about the iPod slipping, dropping, etc., that my form might suffer if I used an arm band.
The armband works wonders when you are running. However, for weight lifting, I use the belt clip.
can you imagine some goon lifting weights with an ipod strapped to his arm? hahaha
it'll put more weight on whichever arm you have it on. the stress will cause you to drop the barbell, resulting in slow, painful death.
Like all of you guys my bulging biceps preclude me from attaching the armband to my upper arm, so I just put it on my forearm towards the outside. It works great there and I've been using it for a month or so with no real problems. The only time it kind of hits my upper arm is if I'm doing seated concentration curls, but I just twist it a little and it's fine.
You probably can get away with just using the belt clip, but if you put it on your forearm you shouldn't have any problems working out with it.
Ditto on the forearm recommendation. I have the Jam Jacket Pro with a wrist strap. Much more comfortable than the bicep thingie, and cheaper, too.
I got some workout shorts (actually soccer shorts) that have pockets, so I just clip the mini on there, with the iPod inside the pocket, and the clip on the "flap" portion of the pocket, if that makes sense.

Has anyone tried this
I just got my mini today, so I haven't had a chance to try it, but it would seem's the arm band is tight on your tricep/bicep. I know it's good for running, how about weightlifting?
