I'm planning on getting a CD player for my car, to replace my ####ty Jensen 9800 .
The model i think i'll be getting is the Clarion DXZ-725.
Thing is .. it does have AUX input , but not on the panel .
How does it work ? How do i connect the player to the aux input ?
What do you think ? has anyone heard about that model ?
Thanx.

I have the Clarion DXZ435. The audio input is on the back of the stereo in the form of separate left and right inputs so you'll need a cable that goes from RCA jacks (or whatever the full size connectors are called) to a mini-jack.
You have to plug the cable in at install time and run the cable out somewhere. In my '97 Golf I ran it down the console and out to the passenger's foot well area. It's worth it. Sound quality is way, way better than cassette adapters and FM transmitters. Also note that the cable can be routed more out of the way than stereos that have an input on their front panel where the cable will be hanging down from the dash.
From experience I would strongly recommend using a cable that has an L shaped mini-jack - you get a better connection with an L-shaped mini-jack because it tends to pull to the side instead of pulling straight out as a straight mini-jack will do. After a while a straight jack will give intermittent audio.
