On tusday a friend told me about the new IPODS. So i went to apple.com and saw them. i said to myself i gotta get one. But i didnt have the money so i am thinking of selling everything my 20GB IPOD Windows, iSkin case, Car Kit. for $725 CDN. the new IPOD (30GB Windows) here cost $749.99 +TAX. i dont know if this is a wise thing to do. So if you people could tell me what to do i would appreciate it.
Thanks

I can't really help you, but it's always nice to see another Canadian here at iPodlounge. Welcome!

Actually I do have another idea, you could just get 1 15GB, and rip all your songs in AAC format so It'll ened up being more like a 20GB.

thanks 4 da idea but i want to noe if it is worth getting a 30GB Windows IPOD 4 my 20GB Windows IPOD (with case, and car kit)

I would say no. If you really think about it, what are you getting with the new iPod? A smaller package, and that's about it. Oh yah, and a shorter battery life.

Yes, it is definately cool to have the latest and greatest, but I can't see the justification for an iPod20 owner. If you had an iPod5 and were running short on space, I'd say do it.

But, then again, if you know you won't be happy with a slick, sexy new iPod not in your pocket, better make yourself happy.

I wouldn't do it, but it's up to you. I think the older iPod's look way nicer, and the new ones don't have that many features that really justify the upgrade imo. I doubt you could be running out of room with the 20gig that you'd need the 30gig pod.... but once again, it's your call.

Crazy, far as I'm concerned. Assuming the one you've got works properly, why? Before you know it, today's sleek new ones will be old news, then you'll want to sell it too. I say all this with the suspicion that you'll end up doing it anyway.

I know what you mean by wanting to trade up. I kind of want to do the same thing. However, if your set up is working for you I would hold off for awhile. You've invested a lot of money in that little buddy right there with all those accessories. So, I think you should kick back, grab a moosehead, put on your favorite playlist and chill out eh!!!
