Hi Ollie I Hope you had a good time here in the States. If you have a mini 3/4 plug that you can connect a cable from the stereo to the headphone jack of the mini . If not the only other solution is a wireless adapter such as the ITRIP .
cheers
Whats your view on the iTrip, there seems to be mixed feelings about how good it is. Is the quality good enough? Suppose the iTrip has 2 uses though since you can use it on the home stereo as well.
Ollie I found that the ITRIP does not suit my needs because eventhough you can pick any station on the FM band to use in Philadelphia there are a lot of stations on our fm dial and there is always bleeding in when the song from the IPod is playing. If you live in an area where there a lot of "dead air" stations you should have no problems.
Goog luck.
Rob

Just returned from the US with an iPod mini and i want to use it in my car. Im a novice in the iPod world and i would really appreciate some help. I have a Sony CDX-L480X CD Tuner and i wondered what ways i can conect my iPod mini to it? (I have included a link to a spec page for the CD player) Thanks
