hold / lock switch not responding
The little hold button on top is not responding. I did a search on previous threads and I couldn't find anything useful. I tried restoring my ipod and draining its power for a few days but still no luck. I cant use any of the buttons or the scroll wheel but I can turn it on by hooking it up the computer. The little image of a lock is at the top. Help please.

I have tried restoring it and it is still locked. Does it cost money to get it looked at?

scypher84: If you're withing the warranty period, having it looked at is free.
