I LOVE my iPod Shuffle!

I have a 2G iPod Shuffle 1 gig silver. Got it today and LOVE IT. I clipped it on inside my pocket while I did some stuff around the house and half an hour later remembered I had a new iPod It's as if it wasn't there. Also got some aluminum cases for it. This is going to be so awesome for the gym!! It fits 218 songs.

LOL--glad you like it!

I love mine too. But it didnt always use to be this way. After I bought it, it gave me nothing but trouble and I used to hate it back then. After the many times I had to restore it, if the restore process finished correctly and I had to name the iPod again, I would always name it "POS" as in "Piece of -hit". hahaha.

But then a miracle happened that changed everything (I connected it to the USB port in the back of my PC instead of the front ones) and I love my Shuffle since then.

But anyway! Where did you find aluminum cases for a Shuffle? Can you provide a link so I can check them out?

GatorDeb

Here they are. I paid more but it came with an extra sync cable (not much more).

Just search "ipod shuffle case" and browse for aluminum

Thanks for the link

Um... Is this the same one you're selling? Short-lived love affair?

GatorDeb

I have 2 The one I'm selling is brand new in the box.

More one lover... I hav 220 songs in mine plus 50mb for ''pendrive function''...

Now I'm thinking in a 2GB version or a Creative Zen Stone 4GB...

bigbabydaddy196

Thanks for clearing that up--it had put mah po' l'il hillbilly mind in a twist......

Mine is already clad in aluminum. It was run over by a car and still works great. Only three tiny scratches on the front. I don't think you need to put more metal around your shuffle, but go ahead if you want to.

Rod Smith

Oh, I see you are selling an ALUMINIUM SKIN CASE made of flexible, non-slip silicon. I stupidly thought you were selling an aluminium case while of course the ALUMINIUM refers to the Shuffle that the case fits.

GatorDeb

-I'm- not selling a case. Someone asked what kind of case I bought and I picked a random eBay auction.

GatorDeb

Got my covers today. They are not silicone, I don't know if they are aluminum per se, but they are hard and feel the same as the body of the Shuffle. Definitely not just silicone like the description says, that's an error.

The eBay add is misleading. The case the add is selling (or WAS selling, since it has since closed), is an ALUMINUM case, not a silicon case and certainly not a combination of aluminum and silicone. Its just a piece of aluminum that covers the Shuffle. And not even completely, cuz the back, top and bottom are uncovered.
The description on the add however, mentions the case is made from silicone. Which is not the case.

If you want full protection with a better look (at least in my book. I dont like the aluminum cases, which seem they could/would scratch the iPod themselves while putting them on, taking them off) go for the PowerSupport Silicone Jacket ( http://www.powersupportusa.com/produ...2G_siljack.php ).

If you want to be able to change your Shuffles color tho, you would need an aluminum or plastic case.

Rod Smith

OK. They look nice. Thanks for the clarification. I think I would have trouble accessing the controls with my fat fingers. I believe the metal Shuffle is indestructible, scratches on it are hard won and improve appearance. Nobody has a Shuffle that looks old and ragged. It doesn't happen. I hope you enjoy your covers, but others who read this thread should know Shuffle does not need protection.
