Sweet! I got my Mini today (one day early - life's been good). Just for kicks I connected the iTrip for 3G iPod that I had. It works! It's a not as pretty since the iTrip is off-center, but it still functions correctly.

That is exactly what Griffin (the people that make the iTrip) says about it on their website here.

Personally after seeing all the colors at my local Apple Store, the blue looked the worst. I, being a guy, would choose it only over pink. The other colors looked so much better. I, for instance, am waiting for the store to replenish its green ones.

I had a tough time choosing, but my top three choices were green, blue, and silver, in that order. The store near me had blue and silver in stock on Saturday, zero available on Sunday, and a blue came available again on Monday - I jumped on it and haven't regretted it for a second.

And to be more on-topic - my iTrip works like a charm as well, as does the belkin car charger =) YAY
