The ability to edit posts older than 24 hours old has been removed.
Is that new?
In other news, it sucks.
Yes, it's a recent change. It was implemented after we had some issues with users engaging in historical revisionism.
Realistically, there is very rarely a legitimate need for somebody to edit their posts more than 24 hours after the fact.
It's a bummer that it has to be done, but I can see why it's necessary. I'll just have to double-post, I guess.
Switching from question to feedback and now to a suggestion: User based editing privileges would be nice. Either give it to people who have a certain post-count or take it away from those who abuse it maybe. I'm don't know who the user was or whether they had previously been in good standing, but if the post count thing would work and is possible to do in vBulletin, it would definitely be nice.

That particular post. Firefox on WinXP.
I think that's all I can say about it. There is just no edit button.
edit: Even after clearing my cache.
