For me it would be a new user interface, with cover flow and that. Also I think when the people over at ipod linux hack this they will start making some really nice things. I also don't mid the fact it has internet but I probably won't use it much.

I did not know that, that sounds awesome. Will the internet browser have sound on it?

Update: I'm psyched on the youtube part too. Not bad.

Nice huge cover artwork, coverflow, interface, safari and watching videos on that nice 3.5 inch display

The iPod Touch is already running a modified OS X which is based on Unix...There already LOTS of apps that have been made for the platform (iPhone) and should work on the Touch pretty seamlessly. No need for the ipod linux guys to have to get linux running on it for cool stuff (although I don't doubt that they will)

The internet browser doesn't have sound directly, but it should be able to launch audio and video via Quicktime like on the iPhone.
