I don't think you'll have to. I'm sure after some time you'll figure out where the "button" is without having to look. Can anyone with an iphone confirm this?
I am not so sure I think to get anywhere near the projected battery life you would have to sleep the ipod which means you have to wake it up and then change the song while its in your pocket?....and with no tactile feedback.
Well, if you use the bundled headphones with the iPhone, a double-click of the microphone button will skip to the next track.
You can also get used to the button location fairly easily, but it's not nearly as efficient as having an actual hard button.
Realistically there will probably be a much larger market for wired in-line remotes...
Don't you think Apple will make a special remote just for the touch?
Don't worry folks. The iPod touch isn't out on the streets until the first weeks of October and by then Apple will have launched a refreshed the current remote making it compatible with the iPod Touch and iPhone.
Apple already has the radio remote (uses dock connector) which should work fine with the Touch.
If that's too rich for your blood, there are a ton of cheap $10 remotes on EBay that also give you a Shuffle control cluster, but no radio.
Plus we'll see what else Apple comes up with, maybe included headphones will have 1 or 2 buttons.
Haha, I don't think mine will be going into my pocket anytime soon! I want to sit on the subway flicking through everything with my finger while everyone around me drools.
Too bad it doesn't have a camera so I could capture the look on their faces.

How do iPhone users deal with it? I'm very excited about the touch, but I am weary of the ease of switching songs while walking. I don't want to have to take the thing out of my pocket every time I want to skip to the next song.
Remotes?
