Instead of making these HORRIBLE iTunes-Only phones like the ROKR, phone makers should just take they're best-selling phone (like Motorola and the RAZR), give it iTunes and maybe 1GB of memory, add another $50 bucks to it, and make an iTunes phone. It would make way more sense than wasting all that R&D money on a phone that is like an inch thick and has a paltry 512 MB of memory.

However, I think Motorola did a better job with the SLVR, taking the Japan-only L7 and adding MP3 capabilities to it, thinning it out a little, and adding that beautiful black mirror-like finish.

The ROKR is just a slap-on, Apple should make a real iPhone form the ground up, soon I hope.

The new RAZR is already iTunes capable.

The ROKR is just a quick slap-on. Apple is suppose to make an iPhone from the ground up, and soon, I hope.

The new RAZR already has iTunes, but still 100(?) songs.

so many mp3 phones out there that can also play other formats. how about iTunes software for mobile, symbian smartphone, windows smartphone, pocketpc, etc etc etc... i have allTunes (from allofmp3 site) on my SPV which is like a mobile version of iTunes, can browse, download... & it's cheap. i think apple are lagging behind now.

Wait 'til the iPhone comes out... but it won't be cheap, but they will sell a ton, and the surge of traffic on this website will force iLounge to add another T3

And it won't play all formats, u do it the Apple way or buy the other guys' phone. But u won't be able to resist the iPhone... It will be, again, be insanely great.

time will tell!... i have mp3 phone but iPod remains on top. phone has 2.5mm socket which limits your headphone choice. sounds silly but i don't like searching for the adaptor.
