Was upgrading my computer from windows ME to XP. I wanted to protect some baby pictures, so i hooked my shuffle up to the computer and copied 35 meg of pictures to the shuffle.

Windows ME recognized it at a mass usb device and everything seemed fine. (the shuffles was empty at the time)

While upgrading my computer it crashed and i had to reformat the hard drive. I get XP up and running plug in the Shuffle and it does not appear to have any files on it. I click the properties and it shows that approx 37 megs of memory is used. I assume that those 37 megs of used memory are my pictures.

These pictures are very valuable to my family, delivery room, hospital pictures of our second child!

Any suggestions?

Got the problem fixed. For some reason the files would not show up on any computer with Windows XP, one of our Intern's Computers has ME, so i hooked the IPOD to it and WHAMO..works perfect!

Strange Stuff,

Just lucky i don't have to tell wife i lost the baby pics!
