Gear.ign.com has a review of the Shure E2c earbuds. If anyone is interested, this is one way of getting an opinion of the phones from someone who has done alot of headphone reviews (the site also has reviews of a couple of sony earbuds).

i just got my e2cs two days ago, and i like them a lot!
great sound and very comfortable to wear with the foam sleeves

A very fair review. The only point I disagree with is the part about the plastic sleeves - mine work very well for me.

He's correct about needing to bump up the bit rate. The E2's really do accentuate flaws.

THANKS A LOT FOR THE REVIEWS!! I always try to find out about the product before I buy (like most ppl), and this review was what i needed. The earphones seem to be amazing, and I rip my music at a very high bitrate, so they will do the job... Also, they aren't very expensive. I just wish that they would make the wire the same colour as the iPod... oh well, i'll just get out the white-out lol!
