iTunes Refresh 'Random' Smart Playlist

Hi,

I've a lot of music and only a 4GB Nano. I've created a playlist of all my 'Good Songs' and then a Smart Playlist which selects from that 'Good Songs' playlist at random, limited to 3.7GB.

My question .. how do I refresh the 'randomness'? Right now I have to uncheck the 'limit to 3.7GB', save the playlist, then go back in and then recheck it. Is there an easier way?

Thanks

select all the songsin the playlist and then right click, select clear, it should clear the playlist and get you new songs.

I like to add a last played date to my "random" playlists to make songs fall out of the playlist and get new songs automatically.

Hi,

Thanks for that. Removing the whole of the 4GB takes with 'clear' takes too long - it's easier the way I was doing it

Good point about adding in a last played. I guess the playlist tops itself up when you remove stuff, which could be useful.

Hmm. Didn't think about that. Well good luck!
