I solved my own problem!!! Radio Shack sells a "Volume Control Headphone Extension Cord" Part # 42-2559. It increase the volume output of the headphone jack. I can now play my songs on my cell into my car stereo. I also checked it with Harmon Sound Sticks. Really pumps up the subwoofer!!
Very cool!
Thanks a lot! I was really puzzled by this. I still wonder why it does that... but I'll go get Radio Shack 42-2559 cord and try it out.

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I have a new ROKR phone and have been having trouble getting audio from the headphone jack.
In the past I would take the headphone out of my IPOD and plug it into a cable hooked up to the AUX in of my car stereo. Worked fine
When I plug the headphone out of the ROKR into a headphone, everything works fine, the ROKR speakers are muted and I hear great sound out of my Headphones.
When I plug my Headphone out of the ROKR into the AUX in cable of my car stereo, Nothing happens. The ROKR speakers still are active.
I tried replacing the cable without any luck.
