I really can't believe how small this thing is. I got the 2GB black Nano to replace the 1GB shuffle as my workout companion, and it's half the thickness of the shuffle. My 20GB 4G iPod looks like a dinosaur next to it.

I really liked my Shuffle, but I can understand why people were critical (no screen, etc), but with the smallest Neo double the size of the largest Shuffle, and no need for the Mini (not so mini anymore), Apple is going to sell a boatload of these.

Are you having much trouble with fingerprints / scratches? And if so, are they really that bad? I'm still trying to decide on white or black.

Fingerprints definitely show up more on the black than the white, but I also have a black PSP and I have the same issue, so I'm used to it.

I went it to the Apple Store planning on getting the white, but when I saw one of the salespeople with the black, it really looked beautiful. I think it looks even sharper than the black 4G iPod, since this has the original style iPod acrylic covering over the black. You need to see it to appreciate it. Don't get me wrong, the white looks great too, but the black is so sharp IMO that it's worth the price of wiping off the fingerprints more often.

I got the black nano, i really like that color for an iPod. happy podding man.

I black 4gig nano was sold out at the apple store I went to. Went pretty quick.
