Another close-up.
Night pic.
I want it to have my children. Beats the snot out of my install, but I drive a stick shift compact car so I don't have nearly so much to work with.
Another night shot.
To quote the governor of Kalifornia: "Vary Nize!"
I wish I had the large pocket or cupholder in my center console to work with. With so much to look at, I just now noticed its a mini. Nice job!
that is quite possibly the coolest thing i have ever seen.
That is just amazing. I think you could make a good business out of doing this for people...that is just too cool!

I changed a few things with my custom install. The most prominent revision is the edges of the piece I made, they are now blended with the original console for a smoother look. I repainted the entire piece to match the interior better, and added a faint silvery white Apple logo in the center. I also redid the fiber optics to give a cleaner look and a little bit brighter light this time. The wiring inside is a little different also. I'll add some night photos as soon as I can. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoy using my new toy, and perhaps they will inspire someone else to make something just as cool, or even do something better.
To see how this was done, check out my original post that explains the initial process:
