Where to buy an iPod Mini - On Vacation
Hi Guys. I live in the UK, and I am on Vacation in Florda at the moment. I thought it would be easy to by an iPod Mini, but they are sold out everywher. I tried Best Buy and Circuit City. Apple.com ships in 3-5 weeks which is to long.
Does anyone know a place that sells them. I do not mind if it is online because I can have it shipped to my Hotel. I am in Naples at the moment, but going to Orlando on the 9th April. I am preferably looking for Blue or Silver. If not, then Gold, and if not gold, then Green. I would really appreciate your help, Josh |

First of all, hope you are having a great vacation! I know you don't want to hear this but I would honestly suggest you get a 15GB instead (though this may not meet your needs/wants). Good luck anyway!

If a Mini's what you want it's what you want...unfortunately, Minis are currently in very short supply.
Give Target stores a try. Rumor is they're selling Minis. Here's a link to the Apple Store in Orlando: http://www.apple.com/retail/millenia/ You might want to call ahead and see if they've any in stock. And, finally, if you want to try online or by phone, try smalldog.com. I don't believe there are any in Florida, but there are plenty along the East Coast and if they have a mini in stock they should easily and quickly ship it. Good luck! I am really only looking for a Mini. I had a normal iPod but sold it, because I didnt need all hat extra mney, and I needed the extra money. If anyone could tell me where I could get one from I would greatly appreciae it.
p.s - I called the Apple store, and they are out of stock. |

Target?
Josh, did you try Target? Most people don't think to go to Target to look for a Mini (they definately have them--a search of their website confirmed it), so they may not have been picked clean yet like the Best Buys and other tech stores.

I picked up a mini in San Diego when there for Spring Break.
Go to the Apple Atore and put your name on the in store wait list - you may get lucky and they may get a shipment while you are there - if so - Preato! I put my name on the list in SD while there and got a call 5 days later. |

Definitely Target. They have a small display for them in the store. Most people don't know that they are selling them. Also, check out your local Apple store. Sometimes they will have minis that people ordered, but did not pick up. They are just sitting there waiting to get purchased. Good luck!

Have you tried calling the stores? Checking online isn't always accurate. Let us know how your search goes.

You can try going to compusa. The sale person told me if I ordered through them w/ the 59.99 apple care warranty thing I can get the mini in 3 days. I asked what if I dont want the warranty... she replied she cant guarante when it would come maybe a week or 2. So you can try with compusa.

Hey....
I called the Guitar Center in Orlando and they are out of stock. Does anyone else know someone. I think it will be the less popular places, and the unusual places that people wont tend to look for an ipod Mini at. If anyone knows a place, please tell me. Also, my MSN is joshiestevens@hotmail.com and my AIM Screename is joshiestevens Thanks Josh |
