Lightbulb Album Art View

I used MusicMatch until I saw the light. The only thing from MM I'd like to see in iTunes is the "Album Art View", which was a bit of a lame feature but I'm sure Apple could make it cool! I like my Album Art and would love the option to browse via Album Art as well as via the "Genre, Album and Artist" columns. Would you like to see this feature too?

Wow... Awesome Idea. Apple has GREAT experience with displaying a lot of thumbnails at once... Ever seen iPhoto?

In iPhoto, you can scale all the thumbnails at once using a slider button... I can see them adding this to the "iTunes Album Art view" so you could navigate around visually.

I'd love to see this!

Great first post, and "Welcome to the 'Lounge."

I think this is a cracking idea - it would be a big step towards making a digital library more enjoyable to use.

Not sure where Apple would rank it on the priorities list of new features for iTunes though. Shame.

I feel like there are some third party apps which do a similar thing on your desk top (giving virtual piles of CDs to browse through). Is that right?

Clutter lets you organize your album artwork into "clutter" that you place on your desktop. Clicking on the artwork plays the album. While not a view in iTunes, you might have fun playing around with this.
