hahahha that wicked!
Hmmm, better learn to hide the look of shock at how bad their taste in music could be...
...or could this be a new line in T-Shirts?
"Fancy sticking your plug into my jack?"
haha i would totally buy that tshirt.
hey Bob, how're you liking panther so far?
Uh oh, I see it all now. Public Service Announcements will be out warning us to Practice Safe Jack Sharing.
I still find that amazing though that folks just offer up their tunes. What a way to meet people.

Wow, that's pretty brilliant. If I ever bump into someone else with an iPod (haven't yet, although i've only owned mine for about two months) i'm gonna try that.
what an awesome idea.....you could have an ipod "community" going before you know it......becareful of thiefs though....they may pull you over just to steal your pod....
That's awesome, wouldn't it be cool if that could happen worldwide?
Sweet, I'm in Montclair, I'll be on the lookout.
Remember kids...practice safe jacking, use an iSkin!
um...sounds very similar to another behavior. You know that behavior that dogs exhibit when they pass each other.....
sniffing each other's as*es.
You can record yourself reading some of the Charles Manson's material and offer someone to listen that , then count and see how long before they run.
You can even make a game out of it
Isn't this a kind of low-tech solution, especially for Apple customers. I'm betting on Bluetooth or 802.11g iPods for music sharing. or actually they could probably do that via an addon and a firmware update. now that would be cool a little clumsy have a big [relatively] airportcard unless it was integrated, that's the advantage of bluetooth I guess [its small, vry small] but how bad are the speeds over bluetooth [I have no experience with bluetooth only know that its cool and small]. Even 2 - 4 mbps would probably be fine for music. and don't they have those wireless bluetooth headsets, do those use digital or analog signal? if you could squeeze enough speed out of bluetooth for music transfer well that would be cool. How legit would that be well what if it said don't steal music actually printed on the vry small white adapter? would legitimize it lol? this bluetooth adapter i'm imagining would be like that pocket |dockconnector| to |firewire| super thin adapter thing they have for the iPod [i forgot its name] except for this would have a blue bluetooth logo on top or bottom and don't steal music on bottom or top
or even just playlist transfer. I don't know how clumsy text input would be [via scrollwheel] but it might not be too bad compared with cell phones. and that would be pretty cool. but just like recognizing different iPods nearby and sending them playlists or songs lol. this doesn't have to be made by apple i dunno how they could do the software probably not. so i guess it would. but still it woudl be cool. then again how strenuous would this be on the battery, i seriously think that apple has to reduce prices or increase storage or at least give us better batterylife

I'm seeing an interesting iPod behavior around here (central NJ) ...
I take a 3 mile walk most evenings and regularly pass a few other iPod owners. About two months ago one of the iPod users stopped, pulled out her headphone jack and offered it to me. I did the same and we listened to each other's music for about a minute before going on. Within a few days all of the iPod users were doing it and it continues to be a standard greeting.
