Best Screen Protector for iPhone 3GS

Hey guys,

I'm looking for the best screen protectors available for the iPhone 3G/3GS. The only two options I know of are the AT&T OEM screen protectors available at the AT&T stores, or the DLO Surface Shield. I've read a couple of bad reviews about the DLO Shield on amazon - people saying it leaves a sticky residue when you take it off.

Any idea what the original AT&T ones are like? Any experiences with the DLO ones?

And which according to you are the best screen protectors? I'm not looking for anti-glare or anything that offers 'privacy protection', just a plain screen guard...

Thanks!

The best screen protectors I have used that are re-usable are the Power Support ones.
Great quality, always cut perfectly, never had an issue with them.

Use PowerSupport Crystal on two iPhones and two Touches, also recently installed on 2 new touches that friends bought, go on perfect and easy every time and look fantastic.

I am thinking of getting a PowerSupport and am not sure whether to get the Crystal or the Anti-Glare, have any of you guys tried both of them? Which one would you suggest?

Thanks.

I've used both, and I can say, it really depends on what you like.

Cryatal - Easier to read text, and see your display in general. As close to viewing the stock glass on the iphone as you can get. Unfortunately, the side affect is that there is the usual glare from light sources, and your oily fingers will definitely show on the screen, and makes tracking across the screen stickier.

Anti-Glare - Text and screen in general is slightly grainer (definitely noticeable but still readable). Glare is reduced, but not removed. No oily residue on the screen, so it's always smooth when using it. Not as bright as the Crystal.

I have used both anti-glare and crystal on my iPhone and I seem to go back and forth. I like the anti-glare more for the fact that you don't get fingerprints on it as much as the crystal. However I do love the look and feel of the crystal screen protector.

The anti-glare is a tiny bit grainy, not really a big deal but I do miss the screen being super clear.

Currently I am using an anti-glare but I am thinking of switching back to a crystal one again. I just really miss the feel of the nice slick 100% clear surface.

I have used both power support screen protectors and I am partial to the crystal. I do like the anti-glare for its not showing finger prints and the anti-glare. But I never get used to it not being as clean as the crystal. Also the anti-glare is a little thicker and textured, that might make a difference for you. I have also heard good things about SGP screen protectors as well. But since I can get 2 power support crystals for a good price at apple I'll stick with them. good luck.

i use a screen protecter by Zofunk. They do have both mirror and and the clear. And you do get a free protecter screen with their iphone case. i love it because of these reasons

* Protects iPhone screen without adding any bulk
* Made with scratch proof material
* Mirror screen protector reflects like a mirror when iPhone is off
* Clear screen protector provides transparent protection
* Screen protector allows touch-thru access

I do love mirror protector by zofunk. They have the clear one and the mirrored one. and these days i think you do get a 25% discount off all iphone products. Love it for

Like many here, I've had very good luck with the Power Support films. I have a mini-review and some hints and tips for use on the Occasional Mac Blog.

right now im using the SGP crystal clear and i love it
its crystal clear! the screen shield has a slight plastic feel on it so i didnt think it'll stick on the screen well but it stays on w/o causing any bubbles. i've had em on for 2 weeks now and love it.
