I purchased my iPod Classic on Wednesday, I loaded it up but when I listen to music the iPod skips, sometimes it's really bad (song - song - song - song) and sometimes it's just minor (1:45 - 1:49).

Is my iPod Classic skipping too much? I was going to return it and get a nano and put a select amount of songs and videos on it but I really like having the capacity, screen size and player size.

Should I take it back to get it replaced?

Get it replaced. Mine never skips.

This reply is a little late, but did you see if those songs are working fine when you play them in iTunes?

Exactly, did you click error correction before you imported?

I'm also having this problem with a 160 GB classic. Anything you guys may know would help.
