Welcome to iLounge.
If it didn't come in contact with anything else, it must be from that silicon case.
Whenever I get a new iPod, I usually buy a skin that covers the entire iPod like the ones from BestSkinsEver. Once that skin is fitted properly, then I use a silicon case on it. I like to keep my iPod nice and shiny as well
looks like it's rash from the case rubbing. Hard to tell though in the picture. my phone is cracked, scratched, chipped all sorts of things. I HATE having a case on it.

I currently use a silicone Switcheasy Colors case for my iPhone and have been using it since the day I got it. Every once in a while I remove the case to clean off dust from the phone's backing.

The other day I noticed these "blemishes" on the back of my iPhone. I pride myself in taking extremely good care of it, and there isn't a scratch anywhere. These blemishes aren't scratches; they look like dust but they don't wipe off. Theres no elevation nor recession from the iPhone's surface, so they seem as if they're kinda "melded" into the back.
Long story short, I have NO IDEA what they are. What are they??
They look like smudges but just won't come out. Maybe they're from the silicone case? I've tried a bunch of things: Compressed air, iClean computer display cleaner, Windex, microfiber cloth, to no luck.
I'm thinking about using GooGone on the back to see if that will remove them. I hope so, because I'm kinda OCD about keeping my phone perfect. :|
Here are the pics. It's exentuated in the second, with flash. They can only be seen when you glare it into the light. When wet they disappear.
Any ideas/advice?
Thanks in advance!
