k i got a 80gb ipod classic....this is a brand new....i didnt use at all....charged the battery till 60% n stored in my drawer...after some days like a month it was completly dead...n now when i charge it by apple usb power adapter....ipod starts..apple sign comes n goes to language selection n then to the main menu....the battery icon is like 'switch'...means its fully charged....but when i plug off the charger...ipod also shuts down...which means its not chaged...i pluggd the charger again...same procedure...and shows full battery???....i hav dun this plugin n unpluging several times but still no affect....can u xplain this behavior??
n also ipod charger is fully working fi9 with other apple ipods...classic n nano....

Did you try resetting the iPod to see if that helps? If that doesn't do anything, try restoring the iPod's firmware via iTunes.
