Oh I really hope someone can help as this is driving me mad! I have a 3 month old 4th generation nano and all was absolutely fine until the other day I plugged it in to the computer and it is not recognised by the computer/on itunes, there is nothing coming up on the display of the nano - completely dead, nothing! Have tried the pressing and holding menu and select etc and still nothing. Does anyone know any solution? I know 5 other people who are having the same problem. Thank you for any help!

Plug into another usb port. Try plugging into another computer.
