Well, I'll be getting an iPod Touch (32gb ) soon so I thought I should give it some thought on getting the right case beforehand.

So here I am!

I thought I should list what points I want from a case:

- To be able to give some good protection (obviously) - I don't mind the material it's made of, plastic or rubber silicon or something is fine!

- I'd quite like to have a stand for it on it's side (horizontally) for films & other vids. This is quite important for me in the sense that I'd be trying to rest it on tables etc, fairly frequently. I'm not bothered about holding it vertically though I'm afraid.

- Fairly sleek design - by that I mean; not too bulky, melds with the ipod nicely & such like. If I could have a stand which could click in/out as part of the case, it'd be great!

- Well, I wouldn't mind having a bit of screen protection. Though it may be easier to just get some plastic-y clear screen protector seperately from the case. Any advice on this?

I use the Griffin Elan Form Graphite. It's a slim hardcase that has two protective layers. The first is a composite looking layer and the 2nd is polycarbonate; very sturdy, very thin. The best part (for me is that the bottom slides off, so you can dock your 'pod.

I got mine from Amazon. Currently showing new from $14.99-21.99. I paid about 20.00

I have been using an iPod case made from a premium cashmere silicone. It includes a screen protector, microfiber cleaning cloth and matching earcaps. That’s the best one I got for my iPod. You’ve got plenty of options but choose the case carefully so that it protects your iPod from dust, fingerprints and also let you to access all the controls.
