Hey all,
I've been looking for a case for my 32GB iPhone 3GS, White.
I really don't like the cheap look of silicon and plastic cases, as I feel they make the phone, which Ive paid alot of money for, look very ugly..lol
So now I start to look for Leather cases and I am really interested in this Griffin Elan Form Case.
Anyone got experience with this? ie. durability, protectiveness....(i hear some plastic cases are actually scratching the iphone, instead of protecting it???)
Or does anyone have any better alternatives in mind?

The griffin seems cheap to me. The leather is glued on to plastic and it can peel off. I would just get a case the is all leather. I've seen a nice one, that is reasonable priced, by I can't remember the name. I'll get back to you.
The Vaja cases look real nice, but are pricy. Also I'm not into the flip style cases, it seems awkward to talk on the phone with those.
Edit- the case is the Case Mate signature case. Although not all leather, it seems to be wrapped around better than the Griffin. It also has an optional holster

i feel that leather case don't have good protection.
i think hard shell or metallic shell is better,
metalic design are very elegant. i am using a case called LUX twin premium.it has some swarovski crystal at the border
it fits well and looks great with my iphone.
Although it can't cover the upper and the bottom chromes, i still buy for fashion decision

It's quite duable and smart

when people are looking for leather cases, someone always brings up vaja cases. It must be a great product`` i haven't tried one because of the price of these cases but if you really love your iphone, i think it'd be ok to give it a try. i'm currently using just a random leather case that i bought in one of those online stores and i think it does its job well although its way cheaper than vaja cases

I also have bought the Ikonic Edge leather case. It is really a very nice product, very high quality leather, good stitching, I would highly recommend it.
