Downloading & Listening To Previous Podcast Episdoes

I've downloaded a bunch of podcast episodes [18 in all] from iTunes but only started subscribing to them at episode 17. I can't seem to start playing them from the beginning of episode 1. How do I get all the episodes on my iPod and start listening from episode 1?? Am I missing something obvious??

For the record I've been a reader of this site for a long time and the forums have gotten me out of many a jam but this is the first time I've had to post!! Hope someone out there can help...

Try Select All, then Reset Playcount. No warranty implied.

It also may be helpful to create a playlist to put them in the proper order.
