ditto the Sigur Ros.
also, Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" is an amazing album, but real low-key and chilled out

Coldplay, Gorrilaz (kind of; most of the time), Bob Marley (again, most of the time), Smashing Pumpkins (a lot of the time), Radiohead (most of the time), Billy Joel, Leonard Cohen, SlipKnot (just kidding).
This all depends on how relaxing you're talking about. Lullabye, rock-me-to-sleep relaxing, or chill, this-is-cool-but-not-raising-my-adrenaline-and-blood-pressure-levels relaxing.

Yeah, specify how relaxing you want. You could be talking anything from Coldplay to meditation music.
Stuff like Deuter is very relaxing (maybe TOO relaxing)! A lot of the songs are like 25 minutes long, so its pretty cheap when you pay by the song. You could get DAYS worth of this stuff for $10 on emusic.com. Check out stuff from the New World Music label there. |

Pop-wise, I've always loved to listen to the Sundays to chill out.
Classical, Mozart and JS Bach are great to unwind to...
